Over the years, Kamps Classics GmbH has specialized in Dailmler-Benz, Porsche and British production vehicles, such as Austin-Healey, Jaguar, MG or Lotus specializes. Of course, the Kamps Classics GmbH also restores and repairs other types of vehicles such as Alfa Romeo, Ford, Lancia Flaminia or Cadillac.
The company was founded in 1980 by the motor vehicle master Raimund Kamps, who made many contacts with domestic and foreign spare parts specialists and other specialized companies over the decades. Although there is still a considerable range of spare parts for long-expired car types, but of course, everything is no longer available. In such cases, the crew improvises to rebuild an existing part or even makes a part entirely new by hand.
The first restoration contract of Raimund Kamps was an Alvis TA14, built in 1946.
